Confirm that the product falls within Aquatic products, select the correct secondary directory, and verify the applicable HS and CIQ code.

Verify Country and Product Access
Check the exporting country’s access status and any product-specific protocol, quarantine, species, ingredient or processing restrictions relevant to Aquatic products.

Complete Official Recommendation Review
Confirm whether the applicant is an overseas aquatic-product processing establishment, storage facility (cold store), freezer fishing vessel, fishery transport vessel or factory fishing vessel, and coordinate with the overseas competent authority on official inspection, recommendation letter and conformity statement requirements.

Assess Factory Compliance
Review the establishment against controls for species eligibility, fishing or farming area, harvest vessels/farms, processing hygiene, histamine or pathogen control and cold chain.

Prepare Category-Specific Dossier
Compile the enterprise profile and evidence covering species list, vessel/farm and landing records, processing flow, water/ice control, temperature records, residue or histamine monitoring, testing and health certificates.

Submit and Follow Up in CIFER
Complete data entry, file naming, consistency checks and submission through the applicable CIFER route; respond to requests for supplementary information.

Complete GACC Technical Review
Support documentary review, video inspection or on-site audit preparation and close any identified gaps with verifiable corrective evidence.

Maintain Export and Post-registration Compliance
After approval, verify the registered scope, use the registration number correctly, maintain records, manage changes and plan renewal or continuation requirements.
